Cookie Policy

APKLint uses a small number of cookies for analytics and advertising measurement, set by Google. It does not display third-party ad banners or use unrelated tracking cookies.

What we use

• Google Analytics 4 — cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id> help us measure aggregated, pseudonymous site usage (which tools are opened, referrer, approximate region). Measurement ID G-CVH6L36TKG.
• Google Ads — Google advertising and conversion cookies let us measure our ad campaigns and, where permitted, run remarketing and ad personalization for APKLint’s own ads on other sites. We don’t show third-party ads on this site.
• No unrelated tracking — we don’t use other third-party tracking or cross-site profiling cookies beyond the Google analytics/advertising tags above, and we don’t use your browser’s local storage for tool inputs.
• We store your cookie-consent choice (“granted” or “denied”) in your browser’s local storage so your preference persists across pages; it contains no tool inputs or other personal content.

Cloudflare delivery and measurement

Cloudflare's Google Tag Gateway delivers Google tag resources through this site's domain and forwards measurement requests to Google. Cloudflare handles those requests as part of providing the gateway. A first-party URL does not mean the information stays only with us: Google remains the analytics and advertising provider. Consent choices are handled by the consent system described here; delivery through the gateway and script loading order do not establish that consent has been granted.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page visits, loading speed and responsiveness. Its beacon sends page and performance information to Cloudflare, including URL paths, browser/device information and timing metrics; performance diagnostics can include resource URLs and element selectors. Cloudflare documents that this measurement does not use cookies or localStorage and does not fingerprint visitors. This is separate from Google Analytics and advertising measurement. Consent

We use Google Consent Mode v2 and APKLint's own consent banner. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, analytics and advertising storage default to denied until a choice is applied; a granted default applies elsewhere. Use the banner or the existing Cookie settings control to accept, reject or revisit the choice. Denied storage can still allow limited cookieless measurement signals to Google.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time without affecting your ability to use the tools. You can also opt out via Google Ads Settings or the Google Analytics Opt-out add-on.
